Mobile Task Force Unit Nine-Tailed Fox has entered the facility. All remaining survivors are advised to stay in the evacuation shelter, or any other safe area until the unit has secured the facility. We'll start escorting personnel out when the escaped SCPs have been re-contained.
Announcement of NTF units entering the facility.

Nine-Tailed Fox (NTF) is one of the gamemodes in the game that is unlocked by buying the SCP Pack One gamepass.

Description[]

Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 handles internal security for the SCP Foundation, under oversight by MTF Alpha-1. They are a special ops force deployed to Foundation Sites when standard protocols fail and multiple breaches are imminent. As such, most of their operations are classified.
SCP Wiki net description of NTF.

In-game[]

In SCP: Anomaly Breach, players can unlock this mode by purchasing the first SCP Pack. NTF units get an FN P90 with 3 magazines, a USP, a Radio, Night Vision Goggles, a Level 5 Keycard, an S-NAV, and a Gas Mask. NTF units can kill Class-D and any Chaos Insurgency units in Entrance Zone, Heavy Containment Zone, and if holding a weapon in Light Containment Zone. NTF units can also rescue Researchers and contain some SCPs. NTF units can also use voice commands by pressing Z and a number on the keyboard.

NTF units arrive every 10 minutes in a helicopter at Gate A. They use an elevator to get into the depths of the facility.

Containing SCP-173[]

Multiple NTF units can contain SCP-173 by holding out their FN P90 and then touch 173 for some time.

Voice Commands[]

As a NTF unit, pressing Z (QWERTY) / Y (QWERTZ) will open up the voice menu. Blinking while the voice menu is open will play the quote "Blinking", indicating others. Pressing one of the following numbers on a keyboard will play the corresponding quote.

  • 1 "Stop right there!" (Randomizes)
  • 2 "Come on out you bastard!" (Randomizes)
  • 3 "Nine-Tailed-Fox to control, requesting to disable the tesla gate nearest to our position."
  • 4 One of the following quotes will play if its condition is met:
    • SCP-173 closest to your position "Forget about the D, keep your sight on the statue." or "SCP-173 spotted!"
    • SCP-106 closest to your position "SCP-106 spotted, running!" or "SCP-106 spotted!"
    • SCP-096 closest to your position "SCP-096 has been spotted, starting scramble gear." or "I've spotted SCP-096.. over.."
    • SCP-049 closest to your position "Watch your back, SCP-049 has just been spotted!" or "Plague Doctor has just been spotted, everybody just stay calm."
  • 5 "Target lost, proceeding back to the previous objective." (Randomizes)
  • 8 "This place seriously gives me the creeps, let's get this over with, quickly." or "I wonder what'll happen after this man, (other person) I don't know, let's just get this over with."
  • 9 "Did you hear that? (other person) Yeah, the big lizard thing is making a huge mess somewhere out there."
  • 0 "Hey man, what if we give some 420-J to that freaky statue thing? (other person) Why man, he's like.. already stoned."

Tactics[]

Always kill CI when in a group, but make sure that the CI are in small numbers when you are alone. If you happen to find any Class-D or SCP-008 roaming the facility, they are KOS.

Countering[]

As a Class-D, it would be wise to hide when an MTF unit is nearby. You can locate them by hearing their footsteps (since they have unique sounds) and voice lines. Using S-NAV Ultimate or Super Night Vision Goggles lets you easily spot MTF units.

Notes[]

  • Players who are playing as an NTF unit are able to wear either the Beta-7 uniform, or the MTF uniform by selecting them under skins in the main menu. They will also wear their accessories, as the game does not override them.
  • Nine-Tailed Fox units have a cooldown for containing SCP-173.
  • Nine-Tailed Fox cannot kill Class-D who are in Light Containment Zone, unless they have a weapon.

Trivia[]

  • The fact that there are 9 units in the Nine-Tailed Fox task force is clever, as each member represents a tail.
